A Daily Lens (“ADL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the A Daily Lens mobile application and our related website at adailylens.com (collectively, the “Services”).

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, and support the Services.

Information We Collect

Device Information

The App uses a device identifier to support registration, service reliability, and security. We may also collect basic technical information such as your device platform and App version.

If you enable notifications, the App and our notification service providers, including Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service (APNs) where applicable, use an app-specific registration identifier or device token to deliver notifications to your device.

These identifiers are used to operate the App and deliver notifications. They are not used by A Daily Lens to track you across other apps, websites, or services.

App Settings

To provide your daily quote at the time you choose, the App stores settings that you provide, including:

• Your selected time zone
• Your preferred notification time
• Whether daily notifications are paused

You select your time zone manually. A Daily Lens does not request, access, or track your device's physical or GPS location.

Support Information

If you contact us through the App or submit a problem report, we collect the information you choose to provide in that request. This may include the subject and description of the problem, follow-up messages, your device platform, and App version.

Information We Do Not Collect

A Daily Lens does not collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your physical address
• Your precise physical or GPS location
• Your contacts
• Your photos or media
• Your microphone or camera data
• Payment or financial information

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Operate and maintain the App and Services
• Deliver daily quote notifications at the time you select
• Save and apply your App settings
• Respond to support requests and problem reports
• Protect the reliability and security of the Services

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or tracking across apps or websites.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may disclose limited information only:

• To service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting or notification-delivery providers, when necessary to provide those services.

Device and App-setting information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the Services.

• Change or pause daily notifications within the App
• Disable notifications through your device settings
• Contact us to ask about information associated with your App registration
• Request deletion of information associated with your App registration

Mobile App Permissions

A Daily Lens does not request access to your device's location services, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera. The App may request permission to send notifications so that it can deliver your daily quote.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and make the revised policy available through the App or website.
